The Carew Tower is an Art Deco building that was constructed during the early 1930's and was one of many large projects that helped to soften the blow of the Great Depression in Cincinnati. The tower was the tallest building in Cincinnati until the Construction of Great American's tower in the last few years.

I took up photography during a family trip to Colorado. I had purchased a camera for the family to use on trips and I had an afternoon to kill, so I grabbed the camera and discovered a new passion. At first, I focused on nature and cityscape photography, though lately, I've settled on urban architecture. I like the lines and forms of the city, and exploring my hometown of Cincinnati is always an adventure.
