Artist's Description
Once dubbed one of the ugliest university buildings in the United States, Crosley Tower can be seen for miles as it catches the evening light. This brutalist building was constructed in 1969 and was reputed to be one of the largest continuously poured concrete buildings in the world. The university wants to demolish the building, but has yet to come up with a safe way to do it.
About Rob Amend
I took up photography during a family trip to Colorado. I had purchased a camera for the family to use on trips and I had an afternoon to kill, so I grabbed the camera and discovered a new passion. At first, I focused on nature and cityscape photography, though lately, I've settled on urban architecture. I like the lines and forms of the city, and exploring my hometown of Cincinnati is always an adventure.
